'R' took emergency family leave again today. Went CCH for brain scan. Home Health came out and put a pain pouch on me. So I'm fed Dalaudid all the time. And it still isn't knocking out the pain. But I can push the button for an extra dose every 15 min.
Just 2 days after her diagnosis, they put a pain pump on her (the needle was placed in her stomach and she carried the pouch outside her body like a small purse). From what I understood she was receiving a med that was stronger than morphine and as you can tell, it still failed to dull the pain.
